The judo belts

The ages listed alongside belts n & rsquo; not indicate a requirement & rsquo; obtaining the belt but a minimum age to reach this rank. The teacher is the only one able to accelerate or “retarder” progression to access a grade and this of course based on student performance.

From the black belt, Grades can only be issued by the Commission of Specialized and Dan Grades Equivalent (CSDGE) of the French Judo Federation (FFJDA).
